Polish Independence Day
On Tuesday 12 of November, our 5- and 6-year-old children laid flowers at the monument of Marshall Józef Piłsudski and his Legionnaires, paying tribute to the heroes of the struggle for Poland’s independence.
Next, our children visited other patriotic places. At the Main Square, we stopped at the commemorative plaque devoted to Tadeusz Kościuszko, who – at this very place – took an oath to liberate Poland and started a national uprising on 24 March 1794.
